I hope everyone has a great and safe new year and I hope 2007 is better for everyone!

I just wanted to wish everyone in cyber world a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  If you are traveling this weekend, please be safe!  I hope you have a great holiday with family and friends and a safe one too!

I am sick today and stayed home from my temp job!  I plan on going back to work tomorrow.  Can't seem to rest.

I haven't posted in a really long time.  Here is an update about me.  My dad still has cancer and he will never get cured!  My divorce was final October 11th, and I lost my job on September 29th and I am currently doing temp assignments.  We are going to spend Xmas at my sister's house this coming weekend.  I am hoping that 2007 gets to be a lot better than 2006 was for me.

My life is so sorry right now.  one my dad has stage IV lung cancer, two my divorce is still going but will be final in October!  three I have to replace my windshield for the second time in less than a month!  This time I have to borrow money from my parents to fix it.  Can anything else go wrong?  I sure hope not!

I thought I would finally post something and wish everyone a Happy Easter!  I hope all is well with everyone!

Since Richard moved out and moved to his brother's house while he waits for the apartment to be ready to move it.  Vanessa is doing OK but not great.  She is very confused but I know she will be OK.  Tuesday, I went to a legal documentation office to start the paperwork to file for divorce.  We have agreed on a lot of things and not arguing about material things so I can use this service.  I have more paperwork to fill out but I have time to do that.  I am thinking of taking Tuesday off from work and heading to social services and see if I qualify for any emergency aid while this is going on.  I hope so!  Well that is the update.  I am doing OK.  Stronger than I thought I would be!

I knew the day was coming but I guess you are never ready but Richard is packing his stuff this weekend and moving out and I will be as soon as time permits, going to file for divorce.  He claims he lost me years ago to my internet friends so he found new friends which one was hoping he would have left me months ago so they can be an item.  Today he decided to pack and leave.  I do not know where he is staying yet since the apartment he is getting isn't ready till after the 15th.  I was able to the PG&E in my name but the phone is another situation.  They advise me since we have DSL to cancel DSL at the end of the contract on 4/20/06, then call them and they will change the name over to my name.  Then 4 days after that happens, I can call again and reorder dsl.  I hope there is an easier way.  Richard is going to call and see about adding me on the account and then wait a bit and have his name removed from the account.  My problem about cancelling dsl is with my email address.  When I reorder dsl will I have to create a whole new email address?  I hope not.  Well that is what is going on in my life.  I want to file ASAP so I can get back to being happy and enjoying life again!

Passed away earlier this month on vacation with his neice in Egypt!  He was a dear friend of my family.  He has known me since I was 4 years old, sat at the head table at my wedding and even baptized Vanessa.

We attended his funeral mass yesterday in Los Banos and it was a nice service.  Packed as you can imagine.  It is also the first time the bishop has cried in front of all the priests and the congregation!  Today Msgr. will be buried at St. Peter's cemetary and tomorrow will be a memorial mass at Our Lady of Victory church the parish he was at before being moved to Los Banos.

He will be missed!

I haven't updated in a really long time.  That is so not like me.  I have been busy with work and Vanessa has been playing basketball which in a couple of weeks she will start up once again.  It is on Saturdays!  She loves it.

Nothing much has been happening around here.  Vanessa is in a new daycare school and she loves it.  She goes to Kindergarten from 7:50am till 11:20am, they pick her up in the school van and she is there till I pick her up at 5:20pm every day!  Valentine's day we have two classes to worry about.  Vanessa will have fun.

Well that is about all I can think of right now.  I thought it was time to update.  I also noticed that I keep forgetting to check the responses cause I need to approve them before they show up! Just call me an airhead.
